Was going to call an electrician today to find out what was wrong with the engine alarm buzzer but first decided to have one more attempt to fix it myself. Hallelujah, It worked. Tried to find a new buzzer in town to have a spare for next time but Napa only had 12 volt and we need 24 volt, will buy  it when I can find one.

Our trip uptown was a bit of a disappointment, couldn't find anything we needed and the weather was crappy. Prince Rupert strikes me as a one horse town but maybe it will look better when the sun is shining. We need to return through here for Canadian customs clearance on the way back this summer so will reserve judgement till then.
On the bright side the  lunch at Breakers Pub was excellent.
